Cassidy (me! hi!) is an artist & illustrator creating whimsical drawings of everyday life and objects. My work is meant to entertain and inspire thoughtful playfulness, while serving as a means of exploring my own inner thoughts and honestly just chill out. I grew up in Middle Tennessee and studied art and photojournalism at Western Kentucky University before moving back to the Nashville area to teach high school art and photography. Four years of making art with teenagers was a blast and a blessing, but in 2021 I decided to step back and spend time focusing on my own work and other creative projects.
Currently based in Keweenaw of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, I now create original works for show and sale, and take select commissions. I also teach and serve on the Board for the Copper Country Community Arts Center in Hancock, MI.
